Although the Collection has many strengths, the main focus is on American and British children's literature, historical and contemporary. These collections of tales date from their early retellings in the 18th century up to the modern reinterpreted editions of the 1990s and everything in between.

  • The Elizabeth Nesbitt Room - The Elizabeth Nesbitt Room is located in the Information Sciences Library at the University of Pittsburgh and houses several special collections related to the history of children and their books and media.
