Inventnet -- A nonprofit group runs this helpful site. They offer advice and links for patent searching and forms, attorney referrals, news, inventions for sale and much more.

Invention Dimension -- The Lemelson-MIT Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology provides resources, advice, and an inventor of the week.

Inventor's Digest -- Hosted by Inventor's Digest Magazine. Has lots of information that can help you bring your ideas to market.

United Inventors Association -- This is a not for profit corporation that provides support, and services to inventor groups and independent inventors. See their Red Flag Warnings about invention promotion companies.

U.S. Patent and Trademark Office -- Search full text of patents including images back to January 1976. Download application forms. Order patent copies. Search for a registered patent attorney or agent. An invaluable site for inventors.

World Intellectual Property Organization -- Located in Geneva, Switzerland. This is an international organization dedicated to promoting the use and protection of works of the human spirit.
