Academy of Natural Sciences -- Located in Philadelphia, the Academy is dedicated to research and public education focusing on the environment and its diverse species. They offer an excellent Internet companion to their current exhibits as well as other resources.

American Museum of Natural History -- The famous NYC museum in all its electronic glory.

Exploratorium ExploraNet -- An Internet companion to the Interactive science museum in San Francisco.

Museum of Paleontology -- University of California, Berkeley, created this huge site. Since their physical museum is dedicated more to preservation and research, their web site fills the demand need for public exhibits. They also have a lengthy "Subway" of sites for paleontology and related sciences.

National Air and Space Museum -- Air and space flight technology from the Smithsonian Institution.

Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits -- Located in the heart of Los Angeles, this museum houses a collection of ice age fossils.

Rochester Museum and Science Center -- Visit Rochester’s own museum, Strasenburgh planetarium and Cumming Nature Center all from one site.
