  • Academic Info: Religion - An index of world religions including libraries and archives, academic departments, societies and associations, and studies of religious tolerance.

 

 

  • Bible Crosswalk - Provides all sorts of bible study tools such as interlinear bibles, bible commentaries, concordances, parallel bibles, biblical encyclopedias and dictionaries.

 

  • Calculation of the Ecclesiastical  Calendar - This program calculates: Easter Sunday in both the Western (Catholic, Anglican, and Protestant) Christian, and in the Eastern (Orthodox) Christian traditions; and the movable Feasts associated with Easter in the Western and Eastern traditions.

 

  • Christian Classics Ethereal Library - This library contains the World Wide Study Bible Scripture, commentaries, sermons, the Early Church Fathers, which contains 38 volumes, and are the most important writings from the first 800 years of the church. Also contain religious, fiction, hymns, and religious reference works.

 

 

 

 

  • The Pluralism Project - The Pluralism Project at Harvard University is devoted to studing and documenting the growing religious diversity of the United States, with a special view to its new immigrant religious communities.

 

  • Rapture Ready - Includes Rapture Ready News (end time related daily events), Nearing Midnight (an in depth weekly commentary), and countless articles on Christianity, Pretribulation Rapture, prophecy, and the end times.

  • The Religious Freedom Page - Their goal is to promote religious freedom around the world and to raise the consciousness about the central role of religious freedom for all human liberties. This site was developed by and is maintained by the University of Virginia. You will find links to sacred texts, contemporary issues in religion, court decisions, nation profiles, religious freedom organizations, the religious broadcasting page and new religious movements.

 

  • Religious Movements Page - The site, developed by a University of Virginia professor and his students, now contains over 150 Profiles of religious movements.

  • Voice of the Shuttle: Religious Studies Page - The University of California, Santa Barbara, has organized pages of links to humanities and humanities-related resources on the Internet. One of these pages is their Religion Studies page with an annotated guide to online resources covering world faiths and general religious studies sources.

 

  • What is Christianity? - This site is designed to provide a basic introduction about Christianity to non-Christians. A separate page also focuses on the Soc.Religion.Christian news-group.

 

  • World Prayers - The World Prayers Project (WPP) is a nonprofit, educational, public service organization whose founding objective is to gather and present historical and contemporary World Prayers in a unified, multifaith archive on the Internet.
